My grandchildren celebrate this holiday and many other Mexican holidays. They fly both flags during this time. So, does that mean they aren't good AMERICAN citizens or just a family who respects the cultures within their family? If my grandson takes a Mexican Flag to school during a Mexican holiday and a teacher pulls this shit, I will drive to San Antonio and join with my son and daughter-in-law to kick some school board ass until they teach this teacher that he owes ALL flags of ANY...

This student brought the Mexican Flag to school on a Mexican holiday that IS CELEBRATED in the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA also. The teacher had no business throwing it in the trash OR doing anything else with it. MF needs to be fired.

Yeah, yeah...this is the US. But is this really the way to handle such a situation? Take a flag from someone and toss it in the trash? For some reason, I believe the student. I dunno why, I just do. I'm sure that the teacher COULD have found a place to store the flag until the school day was over then return it to the student. THAT would have been the reasonable way to handle the situation IF the school does deal with a lot of fights between the students.

Surely I can't be the only one who stores important stuff in the trash...I oftentimes carefully place items in the dustbin when I run out of room in my desk...I see nothing wrong with this.
