I have been working so much, it is very hard for me to participate here, or even in the non virtual world, to an extent that most would consider
"normal". I am not trying to male you all feel sorry for me. I know most are in worse straights.
So I have less time for cut and paster, or the internet. and have turned to old fashioned print media - when I have a day off - and the money - I find or buy a book, and read it. My eyes do not touch a computer screen.
It is nice.
I love Carl Hiassen - a great Florida author of native fiction.
Right now I am reading Naomi Klien's "Shock Doctrine - The Rise of Disaster Capitaism"
It is the most terrifying book I have ever read. I have been an avid reader since I could read.
This book rings so true. I am not going to even begin to give you a summary - just go buy it, borrow it and read it.
It won't explain everything. But it will explain a lot.
