waco was a disaster of huge magnitude. it was handled wrong from hour number one.

i have been reading about mcveigh much of the morning, he seemed to me to be paranoid and fearful of the government. more so than the average bear. he was fascinated, some say obsessed with firearms and the military was a perfect fit for him.

many of us distrust the government, incl myself but i would not bomb a building. that puts mcveigh in a diffwerent category altogether. his fear of his guns being taken from him was over the top as many gun advocates fears are. im not anti gun at all btw.

I read where mcveigh claimed or thought that thwe army had planted a micro chip into his buttocks so that they could keep track of him. i read that in wiki but thats just one of many paranoid ideations he was tortured by.

me? i think mcveigh was a paranoid coward. if he had real balls he would have bombed congress or a police station or any building that symbolized what he was against. not women and children. fuck mcveigh. i would have a little respect had he done what i just said.

a man like mcveigh has a lot of legitimate issues. he also has a lot of straw ones. thats from his fear and paranoia.

lets say he had issues. more than most of us have. he had more than a good healthy dose of distrust for the government.

What difference does it make to the dead, the orphans and the homeless, whether the mad destruction is wrought under the name of totalitarianism or the holy name of liberty or democracy?
