Lance, point of interest on Clinton's assault weapons ban.....

<<the average gun owner, of which im surrounded by, doesnt own an assault weapon, doesnt want an assault weapon and could care less about the banning of such weapons. they arm themselves with assorted other guns. lots of them.>>

Clinton's bill described an assault weapon in such a way that my hunting rifle was banned even though it is a bolt action, meaning I have to load each round into the chamber manually.  It was a gun ban camouflaged as an assault (military) weapon ban.
