*Firefighters being who they are, I imagine some might choose to do just that, but they'd be choosing for themselves, not expecting anyone else to do the same.

The only problem i have with this analogy is that firefighters are not usually doing it for the money...from the ones i know it is from a deep seated sense of duty and responsibility to their fellow man...for some sneaking reason i am not sure the contractors motives are that idealistic
