I believe that the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Voting Rights Act and Fair Housing Act of 1965 - the cornerstones of LBJ's Great Society - were some of the very best things our nation has ever done, the most inclusive changes to bring the most fairness and justice to the most folks as swiftly as could be done. Sorry that you feel that such silly things are "micromanagement" that "was the beginning of the increase in gov't interference and the decline of our greatness."


I am sure that you are not referring to the Vietnam War, so it by default must be the above.
