But once again..  The opened ended question "Was President G. W. Bush a Conservative" is a nonsensical question not deserving any serious response.  The only question that mattered then and still matters today is "Was President G.W. Bush Conservative enough to get elected".   Obviously the answer to that question is "Yes".   Twice.

Hey now. Don't be dissin' my thread.  It's not a nonsensical question.  Would it be nonsensical if I asked if you were a conservative?  No difference except you're not the president.  The point of the thread is I wanted to know if people here thought Bush was  conservative.  It's not an open-ended question -- it's a yes or no question.

Sorry Erb...

I find it more than amusing to see Liberals trying to tell me who is or is not a "Conservative" without first stating what standards they are using.

I put the measuring stick I used right out there.

I've been asking conservatives here, and every other place I post at, what is a real conservative these days?

So don't go thinking your  two inch stick is all that, and a bag of chips.

I understand why conservatives are now trying to hide their support of Bush. Who wouldn't?

It was an assinine thing to ask... does anyone think Bush is conservative.... he is as conservative, as the conservative movement today, is conservative.

Conservatism is a pale horse, and the riders should be called DEATH.
