I've never understood the logic of someone saying abortion should be legal but they wouldn't have one themselves.  Why not?

What is so hard to grasp about allowing people to live according to their own conscience? Some people don't feel they have a right to decide for others, only themselves. This is one of those cases. I would think that while they would not have an abortion, they see no reason why another can't get one safely and legally.
And THAT is the kind of "logic" I've never been able to understand; "I DON'T WANT ONE, SO NOBODY ELSE SHOULD HAVE ONE EITHER."  "I don't like this, that, or the other thing, so nobody else has any right to like it themselves."  "I don't believe this, so you better not believe it either."

The kind of "logic" the RIGHT embrace with all their soul and being.
