As usual, there are those who benefit by inflation (medical costs are a big factor for many budgets). The insurance companies reject people who might need too much care. Those rejected may make do with using the hospital emergency room, The emergency care costs cause the hospital to increase their fees and we are off on another round of inflation.

Costs of medicines tend to be high because the television adds to have you ask your doctor to give you the latest super-pill are a large factor in the price of prescriptions.

Of course none of this matters if you are a Congressperson or Senator with the best care package that is free.

Isn't that "socialised medicine" under a nicer name?
