I have to agree here... the dynamics of the situation and the climate of fear and politics of that moment in time seem to have been totally forgotten. Remember 'freedom fries' and the free and careless use of the word traitor, the approximately 72% approval rating of the thief in charge, the car magnets, the commentators, the 'so-called' liberal press, etc...

It was a very dangerous time in history because that kind of blind fear leads to dangerous decision making. The tidal wave of "patriotism" was shocking and anyone who had the courage to stand up against the steamroller....well, my hats off. Im now beginning to see just how patriotic and brave those few were.
