John, I have been involved with climate change science for over 20 years.  I have been involved with climate science my whole life.  I also have extensive education in Environmental sciences.  With all of this, I am discounted because I don't buy every chicken little predication that comes along and yet it is this background that keeps me from falling for this garbage.  I don't believe climate change will be linear.  I don't think it will be algorithmic.  I believe it will be sporadic and cyclical because that is how the Earth's systems balance things.  I have been hearing about deadline turning points for 20 years and have seen plenty come and go with no dire consequences.  Climate dire predictions seem as accurate as Biblical end of the World ones.

I think our climate will continue to change.  I think one would have to be a fool to think Man has no influence.  I think one would have to be as big a fool to think that anything man does will have lasting effects on this great planet.  In a million years, man's influence on earth will be a footnote in our Earth history.
