This thread ISN'T about redistricting and the Republicans are at least as guilty of doing unfairly, and as Fancy pointed out probably more so in recent history, so why don't we stick to the GOP's current attempts to suppress voting among young people, minorities and the poor and disaffected.
Ummmm. I'm sorry but the redistricting going on in my state is part of that voter suppression. That's why I brought it up.

Okay. But as Lou pointed out, both sides have been guilty of taking advantage of it in ways that none of us would probably agree with.

I don't think the Democratic party, recently, has done anything but attempt to make it easier for people to register and to vote.

The GOP: Not so much.

Obviously anyone can post whatever they want but the subject of redistricting probably does deserve its own thread since it is an entirely different issue with ddifferent ramifications and remedies.
We obviously disagree. I thought it was very much a part of the topic.  And the Dems have tried to make it easier to vote with early voting initiatives in many states.  Sorry to bring that up though too. I know early voting is entirely different than voter suppression.  Geez I just keep doing it don't I?! Should I just send you my posts through pm so you can approve them before I post?

President Obama: The people of the world can live together in peace. We know that is God's vision. Now, that must be our work here on Earth.
