I see more 'hate' in this sentence than most things fundamentalist Christian groups say when they talk about teaching Creationism in public schools.

BTW, since it is you I am responding to fancy and I am getting to know how your mind works, no, I do not believe Creationism should be taught in science classes, either in public or private schools. It is not science, it is religion and should therefore be kept out of science class.

I have been through this with others on the board and I don't want to get them started.  If you are going to talk about the constitution, you have to remember that Thomas Jefferson (even though he was a agnostic) was battling for christians (especially Baptist) to be able to worship as they please.  The Baptist of Virginia did not want politics and religions combined which those who broke from the Church Of England were trying to do.  That needs to be in the History books where it isn't.   The story of the Constitution was on PBS over the holiday weekend and why Jefferson put that part in the constitution.  So you don't believe in Creationism and I have a problem with where they say man comes from.   Things change from year to year about darwinism.
