if they respected him i would be worried. he doesnt need their respect and he shouldnt even want their respect. with friends like the tea party members who needs enemies

Well, of course, why would an American President be concerned about representing all the people---and not just all the leftist people?

obama has his hands full. i have not been fully behind all of his decisions but i recognize he has a terrible job with no silver lining in sight.

Well, not for Americans with traditional values---but for the Obama left, the "silver lining" is represented by the approaching spectre of US economic collapse and draconian measures to be then used to keep recalcitrant citizens---still believing in free enterprise, freedom of speech and press, religious freedom, the Constitution and personal freedoms in line.  This is all a "crisis not to be wasted."

i hate the cons and esp the tea party far more than i hate anything obama has done. could he have made some better decisions? hell yes but the cons are so off the beaten path that i will choose obama any day, any time over any of them.

Blind faith and nurtured hatreds are typical of the Obama eternally faithful.  It's not liberal behavior, of course---but as long as their king is on the throne---they don't have to care.
