I would know. As I said it was a low interest loan.

I'm fairly certain that if a company gave any kind of outright payment to an employee for the purpose of housing that it would, in fact, be considered income.

It goes without saying that bonuses, maternity or funeral pay is taxed at the usual rate.

Nobody is getting something for nothing; which is why I wonder why it's anybody's damned business what perks I have arranged between my company and me. I work very hard for my paycheck and for those perks.
