Someone wasn't listening when he spoke. He said many things, trying to keep us informed, put forth many ideas and he got told "you lie" by one muthafucker, shouted down, insulted, ignored, just told "NO", told they wouldn't work with him unless they got their way 100% and this list goes on so long I can't even remember them all.

He lost much of his base because he was trying to please those dickheads in Congress called Republican/teabaggers who set out, from day one by saying they would bury him and make sure he didn't get anything done. And they have done a good job at it. While he kept trying, they kept saying "NO".

Am I happy with everything he has done? Nope but I also understand that he was trying to compromise, a word that the Republican/teabaggers just like to throw out there but refuse to do. He over-tried and had it been me, I would have told them on day one "Screw you", the moment I got word that they were going to see to it that I would fail at everything I tried. I would have simply done whatever the hell I wanted and made their lives a living hell.
So then you can't come up with examples of President Obama's "brilliance at soaring rhetoric - inspirational rhetoric" either.
