No, I am not talking about those famous 30 second soundbytes.

I am talking about the claim made in by the author of the article in the thread header. He said
"Mr Obama has had trouble because of his brilliance at soaring rhetoric - inspirational rhetoric."
I noted that I disagreed with this author's attribution of great rhetorical skills on the part of our president and asked if anyone here could point out an example of President Obama's "brilliance at soaring rhetoric - inspirational rhetoric".

I gave examples of people who I believed did have a great deal of rhetorical skill, citing three Democrats and one Republican. I then asked for an example from President Obama that was equivalent to these gifted individuals.

But I can fully understand why you want to change the subject.
