Ok, Lou, here's my mystification with my neighbors. One is a retired fireman. One is about to retire from the Post Office. Both staunch Republicans, love Limbaugh. One has all this "Tax Fairness: stuff in the front yard. Both know I am a liberal. We are friendly anyway. But the Postman has been listening to Rush for years as he delivers mail, and the other guy, well, he's newer here, I didn't ask. They hate government, unions and sincerely believe they pay way too many taxes and that all tax dollars go to things they don't like, like poor people.

Here's my issue: Of the three of us - me and my two neighbors, I am the only one who has NEVER WORKED FOR THE GOVERNMENT. I have a guy younger than me who retired with a nice government (tax payer) retirement, and another one who is about to do the same thing. Both were paid by taxpayers for their entire careers - and they argue with me - ME - who has never received a DIME in taxpayer money for anything I have ever done and ONLY worked for the private sector - about how THEY are UNFAIRLY TAXED???????????

It makes my head spin, my friend.
