The HOA and owners were happy when he said he would take the job. They didn't know he had a prior history of trouble with cops, charges that were later dropped. They also didn't know he was carrying a gun. This is a gated community. He called 911 and was told to stay in his car. The cops were on their way. The boy kept walking towards home. In fact, he died about 100 yrd from his door. Why did this man get out of his car? Why didn't he just wait and see where the boy went? He did have a license to carry that gun but it was for personal protection only. Not for use in his volunteer position as neighborhood watch chairman. Also, it was raiding and his mom said he probably had hit hoodie up because it was raining. Is that a reason to shoot this kid? He was black with a hoodie on?

This whole thing stinks and this man should have sat in his car, as instructed by the police and kept an eye on the boy to see where he went. Maybe then this child would have still been alive. Also,on the news tonight, it was just after dark so it wasn't like it was midnight or later.
