"He followed Martin, despite instructions from a 911 operator not to do so. They had an encounter that left Zimmerman suffering from minor injuries and Martin dead on the ground from a gunshot wound. While we don't know exactly what happened, we know that Zimmerman initiated the contact by stalking a young man who had done nothing more sinister than walk down the street wearing a hooded sweatshirt."

That is the bottom line. Zimmerman was stalking someone who was walking down the walkway. He was the instigator of this travisty. Martin, according to the law, was not obligated to retreat although he tried to by walking faster. When confronted, he was not obligated to say anything and Zimmerman was the one with the weapon. Martin had a right to defend himself. Zimmerman didn't have the right to shoot Martin. Zimmerman is the man with the history of violence, not Martin.

This smear campaign against Martin is wrong, totally wrong. Teenagers often experiment with MJ. 80% of high school students have at least tried it. That doesn't make them a criminal and it has nothing to do with this case even IF they found a trace of it in his body.
