Yeah, the property taxes in Indiana are crippling folks ... and driving older people off the land. Many retired couples find that they have enough to pay the bills and even to travel, but they are forced to sell the house as property taxes rise to confiscatory levels. It is a tragedy, working all their lives to pay off the mortgage on their dream house ... only to have to leave it due to a $12,000 property-tax bill that they just can't afford.


This used to be a really great nation ... and then we decided that it was fine to allow the few to be predatory upon the many. There IS class warfare in America ... but it is NOT the poor against the rich. It is just the opposite.


We have created a bureacratic monster from local to federal. There's an agency for just about anything to make sure we obey big brother....
