Oh Kate, you are so right about sweating the small stuff.

A friend of my niece's is 53 years old. She was visiting her mom and while her mom was taking a shower getting ready to go out for lunch, the daughter must have stepped outside and passed out on the front lawn. The mother found her there' called the ambulance but they were afraid that though her heart seemed to be strong that her brain damage would be extensive. Which it is. They will make the decision to take her off the ventilator within a few days. Just like that, this pretty, healthy individual 's life is over and her family will never be the same.

Thank you god for all my blessings. I have too many to count.

She probably had an arrhythmia.

What difference does it make to the dead, the orphans and the homeless, whether the mad destruction is wrought under the name of totalitarianism or the holy name of liberty or democracy?
