I lost my Mom in ~1996.

It's my new reality. You learn to deal with it. As time passes, the adjustments are made.



I think you'll know what's right. Sometimes it takes a good night's sleep. Sometimes a weekend off, to do other things can kind of reset your psyche.



But I'm not sure neglecting friendships is the appropriate remedy here.



I like it when you're around. I doubt I'm alone in that.



And I suspect it will be easier to deal; when you have company. "Many hands make light work." e pluribus uniform. Stuff like that.



Cherish you mother. But it does not honor her for you to neglect yourself. And we all need friends.
