"List of Islamic Terror Attacks For the Past 2 Months" amh

amh,
Could you provide us a link to the source for your post of this data?
Thanks.
"I do....I did...and I will do in the future." Rosey

That's laudable Rosey, but insufficient. If the majority of Muslims oppose the radical violence, why doesn't the majority of Muslims bring their collective peer pressure to bear, and back these radicals down?
I don't mean to dismiss your approach. But my challenge is not to you, but to Islam. This carnage is being perpetrated by Muslims, and some or much of it in the name of Allah or his minions.
"It is not 'news worthy'." Rosey

I know, dog bites man isn't as much of a story as man bites dog.

But if the majority is trying to persuade the Islamic radicals by majority peer pressure, it would surely be news, welcome news to me.
And if there's some sort of conspiracy in the Western news media to suppress such news, why doesn't Bush blow the whistle on it? Why doesn't Al Jazeera report it?
Count me a skeptic Rosey.
I think the majority of Islam is simply too silent about this. They could at very least match with peaceful demonstrations the violent demonstrations taking place.
Does that happen?
It would be news to me if it does.

And the bottom line is, the violence persists. I attribute the reduction of violence in Iraq to the initiative of Gen. Petraeus, not to that of any Imam, or Muslim sect.

So Rosey, I sense a dodge here.
The majority in Islam are indeed stridently and vociferously (meaning publicly) objecting, applying social pressure against the trouble-making minority, but we simply are not getting the word?
I rather doubt that.
In fact, the news I'm getting indicates that its the speakers at the Mosques (devout Muslims pray 5 times a day, and may attend Mosque frequently) may be key fomenters of further dissent and violence. That may apply in the U.K., but perhaps elsewhere.

Rosey, it's not easy.

Thank you for helping us all to handle it so constructively. I think we can all appreciate your helping to shed light on it, while sparing us the heat.
