He plead guilty...and no it wasn't because of his rich parents either.  If you have some proof that it was because of his rich parents or there was a payoff prove it.

I don't think these kids are getting second chances because of money do you?

Did you not listen to what the parents told the Judge?  Seems they were willing to pay for his rehab.  The problem I have with his rehab is that the rehab company can let him out when they think he is dry, not that he has served a good amount of time.  Seems the rich always tend to get away with things like this.   I believe this kid needed one of those electronic ankle bracelets for monitoring.  The young man I spoke of earlier was made to ware one after he got out of prison for the length of his parole.   The kid I speak of had to plead guilty to get the plea deal he got.

A poor person isn't given the type of plea deal he got.    I pity anyone who doesn't understand that.

I think the parents should have received some sort of reprimand for this as well, not just paying for him to go to a rehab that will more than likely let him out in 3 months.

He doesn't JUST get rehab...he also gets a good long time at probation..as you know probation here is no walk in the park either....if he screws up he goes BACK to prison and does all of the time... adult time which is likely to happen if he doesn't grow up really fast.
