Of course that's true. The point of the studies I have been concerned with, was to eliminate the majority of saturated fats WITHOUT replacing them with ANY other fats except mono's, and those in moderate amounts. It's been a winner so far. Twenty years post heart attack/bypass and I am doing well. 

I have had the same results with mono's, Lou.    Never had a heart attack but since my father died in 1948 of heart failure, I have been told by doctors I needed to do this.  My brother had to quit smoking many years ago because of the same problem.
