And that did not answer any question I asked. I read the damn article. I posted the damn article. I know what they are doing. And it will change things how? Do you think that parents can't look at their child and figure out they are over-weight and that they need more exercise or a change in diet? Do you actually think that some school district data mining your child's body fat will change that? Does the district know, with their trained staff, that there are hundreds of things that can cause people to gain body fat outside of just eating greasy foods? Is the District going to change how a person's DNA is? How about any other body organ that is mal-functioning that causes one to gain weight and not be able to lose it as much as the school district thinks it should be lost?

No, I am not in favor of this data mining of the kids. Parents aren't going to cook better, make their kids exercise more, and the DNA and family health history is what it is and those cannot be changed. Schools want to take outside activity out of schools and many have done away with recess already.

This is an intrusion into the family and I am not going to put my stamp of approval on it because I see no earthly good for it being done by a school district. Let the family get help if they need it from their Doctor. Let the schools teach good eating, feed good lunches, and supply proper exercise during the school day and teach the kids how to read and write.
