One of the most distressing aspects of our In-Ter-Net world view is the way we mistake its immediacy for validated information. We rush toward jugdement and analysis at the speed of light.

But first reports are always wrong. The situation is always more complex than it first appears, and we never accept the idea that we don't know what we don't know. We need and accept instant validation of what we want to believe.

Time stands still on the In-Ter-Net, and there is never any time for saying, "I got it wrong. I know more now than I did before."

And it's so binary.

We don't give each other any room to learn or think.

A month from now, who is going to say, "I got it wrong."?
