Just a reminder:

In his initial post AZKC was using his immense knowledge and superiority to everyone as a means of insulting, deriding and criticizing the MEDICAL EXAMINER'S office. He wasn't criticizing a prosecutor or the idea of prosecution. In other words he was applying his medical expertise not his legal acumen.

Therefor, I'm just not sure what proving causation beyond a reasonable doubt or the year and a day rule has to do with the contention that this was grandstanding by the ME.

Nothing, I suspect.
