And since YOU are the one to take my response to a different level than what I meant or said, then let me remind you that for 8 years we heard about Clinton and going back further, during the terms of the previous Presidents we had to hear about the one prior to them. With the next President we will hear about the 8 years of Obama. That is how the game is played, has been played and will always be played. This way nobody has to face today because they can continue to not just remember the good/bad but shove the bad down the throat of the people just for revenge sake which has nothing to do with remembering the past in order not to repeat the mistakes of the past.
As long as we allow the politicians to lock us into their game, the less chance there is that we can ever break even.

We have to stop playing team politics by allowing the partisans to bring up past screw ups as a way to justify current screw ups. 

We have to hold today's politicians responsible for what they are doing today.

And yes, I was saying this exact same thing when President Bush was in office with a Republican controlled Congress.
