Indeed, he is bringing new elements into the Democratic Party, attempting to construct a new coalition. But if he is successful, the new elements will wield some level of political influence within the party.

I"m all for this. But I suspect that many on this board will not like what the Democratic Party has become, the new shape that it assumes.
