You are correct, she isn't the first female to be on such a ticket, but if McCain is elected then history will be made.

Back in 2000, I thought McCain should have been the head of the Republican ticket. Back then I had respect for him. These days not so much. His choice now, given the past months of experience counts' has me scratching my head. Given his age, his vp choice is important.

Anyway, it isn't the most important item of these times, but no matter who is elected this time, one of the thick glass ceilings will have been broken. I think that is a good thing.
