Winston Churchill saw GENUINE threats, and not just from Hitler but from Stalin as well. George W. Bush at FIRST saw a real threat in al Qaeda and Osama bin Laden. He at FIRST did what he should have, sending troops in after him only when those in power in Afghanistan refused to turn him and his cadre over to justice.

That didn't last too long, though, because he had already BEEN looking at an IMAGINED threat named Saddam Hussein, who was really only dangerous as long as anyone thought he might be.

So comparing Bush to Churchill is like saying that Churchill should've left Hitler alone after a few months, to go and attack Portugal instead.

REPUBLICAN STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE in action.
