And still, to this day, the Republicans would rather say "No!" than help shape and or enact legislation, or take other action that would benefit the nation.
There are but a few exceptions.
Republican Senator Lindsey Graham was the lone Republican to approve President Obama's most recent Supreme Court appointee.
He's the only Republican in the entire Senate to approve her.

That's a sad excuse for bipartisanship.
It's a pretty sad excuse for normal human behavior and a damned weird reaction to reality, generally, if you ask me. (I know that you didn't.)

They like to ask "did you read the bill?" (Of course, usually they are asking that about the people who WROTE the bill.)

I have to ask: Did any of them actually attend the hearings for Elena Kagan? She was most impressive by any standard and she gets near-universal GOP opposition?

They are, in a word, nuts and bordering on engaging in traitorous behavior, IMHO.
