"I've searched for that post Treb. I can not find it.
If you can, I urge you to post a link to it, so that I may review the wording.
But I don't recall having made an assertion. I'm quite sure I made an inquiry.
In my years as a policeman, when I encountered someone as belligerent, as aggressive, as confrontational, and as irrational as your posting style has been in this thread, one of the first things I checked for (after a weapon / safety check) was to determine if they were under the influence of mind altering substance/s." sear

I found it.
It's in a different thread.
"Treb:
Do you consume beverage alcohol to excess?
Ever?
While posting perhaps?" sear

Please note:
Despite the fact that Treb lists it as a quotation, (" "you must be drunk" bull" Treb), I actually never posted such assertion.

Mine was a sincere inquiry. And rather than intending to disparage, I believe it might help to excuse such erratic and irrational posting as Treb has been posting lately.

Treb:
I am sincerely concerned. Your posting style has become that of someone that is chronically irritable, and factually wrong.
I hope that you will:
a) clean up your act, and if necessary
b) get to a doctor, and accurately report your symptoms.
And I hope that YOU will shove all your supercilious, arrogant crap back up your ass with your head.  In case YOU missed it, my original statement about anyone who uses that fun little "tactic" of yours includes this:

Oh, and there's another reason that "reductio ad absurdum" so-called tactic is the WORST anyone can use.  Want to know what that is?

It's because the second you start doing it, you make yourself sound supercilious, arrogant and about as much of a not-worth-bothering-with pissant as you can.
That's you.  A pissant who's not worth bothering with.
