Some have expressed interest in debate.
Yet the level, frequency (& perhaps quality) of debate doesn't seem to match that of the described preference.
Can that be fixed? Should it be fixed?
What do you want out of debate? A winner, and a loser?
Or do you prefer debate wherein each side highlights the merits of their position, advocate for it; and refute the opposing position, highlighting the flaws and errors of that opposing position, without ad hominem attacks against the one/s presenting that perspective?
