Yep, we've still got that damn Bush in office...you wouldn't believe the stuff that he and his cronies have done. But things are looking up! Seems that some of the general public are waking up to their tricks. Miss ya buddy....but we've all still got LTTE to come to. Thank you for building this place. It's home....it will always be home. In a few months, or later this year, we gotta move...again. Yeah...nothing too bad though. I think that Yuku will enhance LTTE for all the members. And don't worry....we'll all pitch in and help Lance get it moved and set up. BTW, she's been our 'rock' here....she keeps us grounded. Remember all that damn moving we had to do when Yahoo (or Yahell as I like to affectionally call it.) decided to go to 'groups'? LOL! I imagine that you and Ritchie are having some grand discussions. LOL! We miss both of ya's...but we keep both of ya's spirits alive here. You should see some of our 'disucssions'. LOL! Yep....still the lively bunch as always... It's friday which means on the eve of Saturday which is, for some reason the worst day of the week for me and I saw this. Wine, the tears are streaming and all of the memories came flooding back in a torrent of vivid pictures and words from Bill. I had to get a new mouse, as you know I use Bill's computer and it was a very odd experience I had. I unplugged the old mouse and plugged in the new one. I went to throw the old mouse away and I couldnt do it. I just couldnt. I kept seeing Bill's hand on that mouse typing out some of the most profound and hillarious and poignant words via that mouse. So, I put it away in a box. Its still the same. The best part of the day is when I climb into bed and the room is dark except for my ceramic christmas tree which I leave up all year and it gives a warm glow to the room, I feel the closest to Bill when Im in bed at night and the worst part of the day is when I open my eyes in the morning. "Don't worry babe, I'll be alright" "Sweet dreams babycakes" "Morning pwincess!" "Forever babycakes, forever." Bill is my hero. I only hope that I can die with the dignity he died with and the courage that he showed. Never once whining or feeling sorry for himself. Thank you Wine and Therese, that moved me more than you will ever know. Why does life have to be so damn sad? Its all around, its in war its in disease and illness and hunger and homelessness and genocide and hopelessness. I don't know...I just wanted to 'talk' that day. Honestly, I meant it as an upbeat post....a positive thing. Celebrating what Bill has built here. You're right...there is so much unhappiness in the world, so we need to start celebrating the good things that have happened to us. I was feeling blue anyways but when I read that poignant post that you wrote well, I fell apart. It was so touching then Therese added her thoughts. It was quite beautiful and Im sure Bill must be smiling. Hopefully we can make some sort of change in Congress today. All of us went to the polls...I just hope that our voice was one and we send a message to Washington. But, whatever comes....we'll see it through. Somehow. You always said that it would be a good thing to change Congress...it would put a stopper in Bush's machine. I just hope that we managed to do that today. We'll know something in a few hours. Anyway....it's been a year today. LTTE is still thriving. You'd be damn proud. Oh, we've had our spats and catfights. LOL! You'd be laughing your head off at some spats we've had here. But, ya know, just as you had hoped, we're a family here....and we always manage to patch things up and laugh at our selves and move on. Yuku has grown up. LOL! I've been watching it since March, and amazed at the changes there. I think the transition will go fine. There might be a few glitches here and there...but I think we'll survive the move. Plus, I've backed up everything here...so no worries there. Anyway, just dropping in.....to talk to an old friend. *Quote:* Never underestimate the stupidity of the general public.
